2007 Communion Wine Pilgrimage

If you missed the Church's 2007 Communion Wine Pilgrimage last week, you really missed out on some fantastic experiences:

We celebrated much Communion along the wild and scenic Deschutes River, and at spectacular Crater Lake.

Yes, we even conducted full-immersion baptism in the stunning blue (and 38 degrees cold) waters of Crater Lake.

And then we were off to beautiful Willamette Valley in seach of wines suitable for Communion at upcoming Church services.

Some of our favorites: Spangler Vineyards, WillaKenzie, Archery Summit, Domaine Drouhin and Adelsheim.

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit many vineyards that might have some good candidates for future Communion wine, so we will have to make another trip soon to conduct further research. Let me know if you'd like to participate in this mission. I'm sure the congregation recognizes the importance of these missions, so keep those donations coming!
